 Second Album
Cassie's second studio album is scheduled for release in September 2008. The album features production by Seven, Mario Winans, Bryan-Michael Cox, Eric Hudson, Sean C and LV, Ryan Leslie,[2] and Danja.
Cassie has said that she had "[grown] up a lot" since her first album, and that "you can hear [her] vocals better this time around. There's real emotion and a much realer connection with fans." She also said the album's first single would be "a club record" and "fun and danceable".[2] The album includes credits from Ryan Leslie, Swizz Beatz, Bryan Michael Cox, Rodney Jerkins, Kanye West,[3] and Danja.
Cassie announced that Ciara will be on the album.

 Official Girl
"Official Girl" is the first single to be from Cassie's second studio album, which is set to be released in September, 2008. This was confirmed by Cassie on February 11 during a stop at TRL
to promote her movie Step Up 2 and on February
12 where she appeared on BET's 106 and Park as well. The single was produced by Danja and written by The Clutch. Confirmed by Cassie on her MySpace blog, the single will feature rapper Lil' Wayne.
The "Official Girl" video is set to debut on August 1, as specified by Cassie herself in her latest MySpace blog post.The video will be directed by well-known director Chris Robinson.
